The Espinosa family holiday preparations are in full swing! The plan is to drive down Tuesday to Miami, and to leave the 29th or so of December. (Yes, you read that correctly). Danny is playing a little more salsa and merengue around the house lately so Dominic and Noémie will feel right at home in the Christmas festivities. I'm wrapping up my history books and preparing my extensive and thorough family history interview questions so I can record as much material as I can while I'm down there! As boring as this may seem, I'm riveted. I would give up chocolate forever for the opportunity to travel back in time (with a camera!) and see my great great grandparents doing whatever it is they did- to see how they lived and what they looked like, to see my grandparents as kids.We have a list going to make sure we don't forget anything... Christmas presents, cell phone chargers, playpen... a month is a long time for a family to live out of suitcases! Dominic and Noémie, in the meantime, are preparing new tricks. Dominic has been working on standing on his head and making spit bubbles (not at the same time, though). Check out Noémie's new trick:
